Clean Install QuickBooks
The error might get triggered due to some issues with the QuickBooks installation files, which can be resolved by reinstalling QuickBooks after using the clean install tool. Follow the steps given below to run the clean install tool:
Note: You need to download and install the QuickBooks Tool Hub for running the clean install tool.
- First, you need to Uninstall QuickBooks Desktop.
- Next, open QuickBooks Tool Hub.
- Then click the installation issues tab from the left pane.
- After that, select the Clean Install Tool button under the Fix my installation Issues section, then click OK.
- Choose your QuickBooks and product version, then click the Continue button.
- When you see the install your copy of QuickBooks to your default location option, select the OK button.
- Wait for the clean install to complete, and then install the QuickBooks again.
